You Aren’t Imagining It…

Perimenopause can bring real changes in mood, anxiety, sleep, focus, and emotional resilience. Many women notice they don’t feel like themselves but are told these symptoms are “normal” or something they simply need to push through. This can be frustrating, invalidating, and isolating.

This service offers evidence-based mental health counseling to address the emotional and psychological impact of perimenopause. Rather than generic advice or one-size-fits-all solutions, counseling provides personalized, professional support to help you better understand what’s happening and develop practical tools to feel more grounded, supported, and like yourself again.

Functional Health Coaching (optional add on)

Functional health coaching is available as an optional, private-pay add-on for clients who want additional support alongside counseling.

I am certified through the Integrative Health Practitioner Institute (IHP), and this coaching approach focuses on education and discussion around nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle factors that influence stress, energy, sleep, mood, and overall well-being during perimenopause. Sessions are collaborative and practical, emphasizing sustainable changes that fit your daily life.

Functional health coaching may include guidance related to nutrition education, supplement education within coaching scope, stress and cortisol regulation strategies, sleep and routine support, movement, habit formation, and accountability.

Functional health coaching is educational in nature and is designed to complement counseling by supporting day-to-day behavioral and lifestyle changes. It does not replace medical care or mental health treatment and is clearly defined and billed separately from counseling services.

Counseling + Functional Health Coaching

This combined approach is designed for women in perimenopause who want both emotional support and practical, whole-person guidance during a time of hormonal and life transition.

Counseling focuses on mental and emotional health and may be eligible for insurance coverage. It supports concerns such as anxiety, mood changes, stress, overwhelm, sleep disruption, and burnout.

Functional wellness coaching is offered as an optional, private-pay add-on and provides education and support around nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle factors, and functional lab testing. When appropriate, coaching may include review and discussion of lab results to help inform personalized wellness strategies, in coordination with your medical provider.

Together, counseling and functional wellness coaching address both the emotional experience of perimenopause and the biological and lifestyle factors that influence how you feel day to day. Services are clearly defined, personalized, and billed separately.

This phase isn’t about losing yourself; it’s about learning what your body and mind need now.
