ASSESSMENT AND THERAPY

Kristin Wylie MA, LPC-S, CBC

Kristin is a licensed professional counselor supervisor and owner of Behavioral Health Solutions. Kristin graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology as well as her Masters of Art in Psychology from West Texas A&M University. She pursued ongoing training in trauma, bariatrics, and disordered eating. Kristin holds a license in Texas and Colorado. When not helping her clients, Kristin enjoys anything active and outdoors including running, golfing, and keeping up with her two boys Maxton (5) and Lincoln (8). She and her husband, Austin, were both born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and have been married 15 years.

Evaluations and Objective Testing:

Kristin is trained in providing assessments and evaluations. She offers:

  • Bariatric Pre-Surgical Evaluations
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Evaluations
  • ADHD Evaluations
  • Behavioral Health Evaluations

An evaluation consists of objective assessments, a diagnostic interview, and a thorough report provided to your physician.

Kristin is a Board Certified Bariatric Counselor and works closely with Panhandle Weight Loss Center treating bariatric patients before and after surgery.

Individual Counseling

Kristin has extensive knowledge and experience in regard to trauma, disordered eating, binge eating, anxiety and depression. She is currently pursuing training in integrative medicine for mental health and takes a holistic approach to improving the overall wellbeing and quality of life for her clients.

MARITAL THERAPY

Dr. Whitney Davis DMFT

Dr. Whitney Davis earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, then went on to obtain both a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.  Aside from her clinical caseload, she also works as a professor for Abilene Christian University, as well as her beloved alma mater, Fuller Theological Seminary.  She holds a level II certification in Restoration Therapy and actively pursues those principles in her practice. Whitney is also a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy Practitioner.  Dr. Whitney Davis' doctoral dissertation consisted of a literature review, which aided in building a curriculum to assist in adult understanding and response to the rise in child and preadolescent technology exposure and consumption.

Whitney and her husband, Zack, have been married for 14 years, and they enjoy golfing and traveling together. They have 3 brave and beautiful daughters Za'ley (12), Noelle (8), and Magnolia (5).

Whitney serves adult individuals, couples, and families in private counseling.  She specializes in premarital, marital, trauma, and family therapy.


Consultation & Coaching Services

Whitney also offers consulting and coaching services!   She has experience in providing services to individuals, couples, families, and corporations in a variety of mental health organizations and business settings, along with extensive experience providing psychoeducational trainings. She specializes in coaching female leaders who serve in higher education and corporate environments. Whitney is passionate about coaching and consulting with individuals on relational health and how it contributes to occupational and life satisfaction.
